Rina Marapao is an emerging Filipina painter  specializing in both watercolor and oil painting.

Born and raised in Palawan, Philippines, her early environment deeply shaped her visual language and sensitivity to natural forms. She migrated to the United States in 2024, a life transition that continues to inform her artistic perspective and evolving practice.

 

Rina holds a psychology degree that influences an exploration of mental states in her abstract and fine art works. She continuously experiments with new forms based upon her heritage and has been diving deeper to understand the human psyche.

Now based in Birmingham, Alabama, Rina is actively building her portfolio and expanding her presence as a fine artist.
