Rina Marapao is an emerging Filipina painter born in the Philippines, in 2000. She specializes in both illustration and fine art painting.

 

Her early work began with the use of the female form along with decorative flora and fauna but her recent pieces have constructed various arrangements of found objects and layered distorted images, often depicting the human figure.      

 

Rina holds a psychology degree that influences an exploration of mental states in her recent abstract and fine art works. She continuously experiments with new forms based upon new experiences in life and has been diving deeper to understand the human psyche. Rina takes on commissioned work with clients locally and internationally and is continuing to build her portfolio.
